Sitting cosily tucked in between the glamorous resorts of Albufeira and Vilamoura in Algarve, is the picturesque village resort of Balaia. The lovely village of Balaia set amongst almond trees and pines with its whitewashed terracotta tiled houses has an authentic charm to it. Well known to golfers, all inclusive Balaia offers a 9-hole golf course right on the cliffs. The executive golf course with rolling hills and beach views has a putting green and driving range as well as an academy for those keen on trying their hand at the game.

With a handful of bars and restaurants plus plenty of activities including golf, tennis, trekking and water sports; there’s plenty to keep the entire family occupied on cheap all inclusive holidays in Balaia.

Beach:

Holidays all inclusive in Balaia offers a duo of blue flag beaches to its visitors. The main beach strip, Santa Eulalia is the noisier and livelier one with quite a few beach bars, loungers, water sports, windsurfing and sailing. While, the quieter Praia da Maria Luisa backed by sandstone cliffs and rock pools, with its tiny beach bar is ideal for a picnic with family. And if you’re hungry for more beaches, the stunning Albufeira with its grand coastline is just a few minutes away.

A day on the beach, relaxing and soaking up some sun while sipping on a cool cocktail and nibbling on freshly caught seafood is the best thing to do while in Balaia.

Nightlife:

The nightlife on holidays all inclusive in Balaia are low key with most entertainment revolving around the all inclusive hotels and bars in town. Most hotels offer their own evening programs for their in-house guests. One can definitely enjoy a couple of drinks at one of the nice bars in town and later on head to one of the exotic seaside restaurants for some delicious freshly caught seafood. Those wanting a lot more when it comes to nightlife can head to the neighbouring Albufeira main strip with its bars and neon lights.

When to go:

The beauty of holidays in Balaia is that you can enjoy yourself all year round. From mid-May to September the temperatures will range between 23°C to 27°C while, the sea temperatures will be around 20°C and thus, ideal for swimming. During the months of November to April the temperatures drop to a pleasing 19°C to 16°C, with 6-8 hours of sunshine daily, thus making Balaia an ideal spot for winter holidays.
