Set around the charming St. Paul’s Bay in north-eastern Malta is the popular resort of Qawra. Being a purposely-built resort, all inclusive Qawra has all that one expects from a holiday destination. It has high rise hotels, an excellent beach, lots of water sports, plenty of shopping, fine dining and loads of entertainment. Beach:

This makes Qawra the perfect place for sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving and plenty of other water sports such as banana boat rides, water-skiing etc. Those caring for a swim in the cool bay waters will find the crystal clear waters full of sealife and amazing for snorkling. All the way from Qawra to Bugibba runs a promenade with shops, restaurants and bars. Most of the daytime activity in Qawra revolves around the beach and the seafront promenade.

Nightlife:

The area of St. Paul’s bay, Qawra and Bugibba are famous for their nightlife; with Bugibba being the party central. You’ll find a wide variety of night-time entertainment on holidays in Qawra. The resort offers plenty of bars, restaurants, pubs and clubs to suit all tastes. While in Qawra, you’ll also find a number of Scot, Irish and British style pubs offering varieties of beer. The nightlife in Qawra entertains all age-groups. Many of the pubs and clubs are designed artistically and are often theme based; one such bar for the younger lot is built like a cave.

When to go:

Blessed with glorious sunshine all year round, Qawra has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and cool winters. Summers here is the peak season with lots of tourists pouring in on Qawra holidays from all over the UK. During the summer months of July and August, the temperature reaches high 30s with almost 12 hours of sunshine. While, the winters see excellent temperatures rarely below 15°C and up to 6 hours of sunshine per day. The months from June to September are ideal for beach holidays.
