Let’s face it if you are coming to Lakythra for a holiday you will not be all that concerned about shopping. Holiday essentials are available from one of the small supermarkets. You can arrange locally a shopping trip to Argostoli a with much more selection of shops.
As you may expect, during the day you will be wanting to do nothing more than relax in the sun. If you feel you want to do something different then you can avail of organised tours around surrounding villages. These are available from most hotels and can be booked locally in a few places around the resort. Nights does not mean nightlife in Lakythra, the few tavernas will serve you up lavish Greek cuisine or your hotel may have limited entertainment.
Out and about in Lakythra:
There is no taxi’s available in Lakythra, however you can book a reasonably priced taxi from Argostoli, a daily bus service also will take you to Argostoli.
If you want to see around you why not take up a full day tour of the nearby vineyard which includes limited wine tasting, St Georges Castle and the Monastery of St Andreas.
