General Description:

A quiet laid back resort, All Inclusive Holidays in Port d’Andratx is a modest destination within Majorca with a fabulous marina at its heart. Port d’Andratx is elegant but still a traditional feel about it as older the buildings and tight streets create a different atmosphere than other resorts throughout Majorca. A lot of building of holiday homes has created a touch of villa blight around the outskirts of the town, but unless you are a connoisseur about your local area that you spend time away in you will not be all that concerned about this.

All Inclusive Port d’Andratx holidays provide an excellent resort with glamorous feel about it, especially popular for the tourist who enjoy their holidays in one place and not bothered about beaches. Families with kids are welcome, although Port d’Andratx holidays are more popular with mature tourists.

The accommodation in Port d’Andratx is extensive if you are looking to rent a private villa, although a handful of quality hotels, a few all inclusive board and some apartments make up the total of holiday complexes within Puerto De Andratx.

Beaches in Puerto De Andratx:

If a good beach is a necessity for your holidays then give Port d’Andratx a miss. The few spots of sand which could be something resembling a beach is very few and far between. You are better travelling the five minutes by taxi to the nearby beach at Camp de Mar which is all you want from a fantastic beach, water sports, sun beds and parasols, with good sand.

Shopping:

You will get all the holiday necessities locally in and around Port d’Andratx town from sun tan lotion to clothing. The Wednesday market will get you the chance for a bargain, so brush up on your haggling skills before you go.

Entertainment:

Go for a good all inclusive hotel so your entertainment is taken care off, bu if you decide on a self-catering apartment then you can choose to do a bit of resort hopping after you have delved into Port d’Andratx. Although there is no mad nightlife you will still find some good restaurants that you will want to spend the night in chatting away, and with plenty of good restaurants down by the waterfront you will soon find your own favourite. Menus vary from the usual food that everyone enjoys to specialised seafood restaurants serving the catch of the day.

Out and about:

A reliable bus will take you to surrounding resorts with connections to Palma, an ideal service for the independent holidaymaker who thinks nothing of hopping on a bus and mixing with the locals.
