Gzira is sandwiched between Sliema and Msida and a nice little resort to relax on holiday with your family. The good news is that there is plenty to keep you occupied during your holidays in Gzira. Below is a snapshot of things if you are out and about you can do on your own.
The Unique Fort Manoel on Manoel Island has been recently renovated; The views from the top of the fort to Valletta and the bays are magnificent.
Duck Village on Manoel Island is a small park for ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, roosters, cats in fitting location finished with a charming cottage on the sea. This is not to be missed if appreciate animals.
Enjoy a spell of shopping at the Gala Centre on Triq Testaferrata. With everything under one roof the Gala Centre is a perfect place to grab anything you need.
If you fancy a taste that we all enjoy then head for the KFC Malta at Triq L- Imsida, good but expensive for fast food.
Do you enjoy watching movies while on holiday? Great news if you do there is a Cinema in Gzira, the Orpheum Theatre at Triq Sir Patrick Stuart. It is an old theatre that deserves to be restored to bring it back to its former glory.

When it comes for entertainment and a pleasant drink while in Gzira on your holidays try Good Thaimes in Triq il-Gzira. Serving Thai food, pub grub style cheap food, there is a good selection of beers. This bar is popular with the trendy young of Gzira.
Just up the road is the Times Gone By Sports Pub at triq Tas- Sliema. This is a nice bar for drinks and snacks or dinner. The pizzadillas are very good and cheap with plenty of variety. There are Spanish tapas if you enjoy your tapas
