General Area:
Sitting cosily snuggled on a small peninsula on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast is the pretty resort of Cavtat. The town is divided into the old town and a necklace of beaches by a lush pine forest. All inclusive Cavtat has become popular with holidaymakers over the years thanks to its movie star looks, great medieval old town, shingle beaches, flower-decked harbour and a beautiful tree lined promenade.

There’s plenty to offer when it comes to sightseeing on holidays all inclusive in Cavtat- Medieval churches, Gothic palaces, art galleries and especially the natural Sipun cave. One can also plan a trip to the nearby city of Dubrovnik just 30 minutes away by bus. There’s some lovely shopping to be done while visiting Dubrovnik.

Beach:

Cavtat’s coastline is home to many pebble and shingle beaches. These beaches are backed by lush pine trees and also quite a few beachfront bars. Cavtat holidays are blessed with many secluded coves and gorgeous bays; it never gets too crowded here. For sunbathers, there are lots of concrete platforms scattered throughout the area. You can plonk yourself here soak up as much sun as you want to get that much wanted tan.

There are plenty of water sports on offer here as well including jet skiing and banana boat rides. The waters here are ideal for snorkelling. But, if you’re itching to feel the soft velvety sands under your feet then a 20 minute walk will take you to the superb sandy beach at Zal.

Nightlife:
The nightlife on cheap all inclusive holidays in Cavtat isn’t too loud or very vibrant like some of the other resorts in Croatia. But, the resort definitely has some good bars, cafes, lounges and restaurants to keep the evening fun rolling. The evenings in Cavtat can be as you want them to be; there are quiet places with candlelight dinners for love birds as well as bars and lounges for the youngsters. Cavtat nightlife caters to all tastes and age-groups.

When to go:

The mercury in Croatia starts rising May onwards, when the temperatures reach in the mid-twenties and goes on increasing till August till it reaches 30°C. If you want to stay away from the crowds then avoid May to August as this is peak holiday season for holidays in Cavtat. But you’ll get comfortable weather in April and September as well. While, post September to beginning of April, the sea will be very cold and a dip in the sea won’t be very possible.
