S’Agaro used to be only a resort for the privileged few and dated back as far as the early 1920’s with nice accommodation even then. If you were not well to do in those times you could not live here, let alone go on a holiday in S’Agaro. Although there is little chance of any people still around from that period the large villas still exist and are holiday homes to many of the well off in society. During summer these are rented out for periods and are a good choice for larger families who will find them a cheaper option than staying in the local 5 star luxury hotel in S’Agaro. The resort is a no vehicle zone unless you own or staying at one of the villas or hotel.

So what do tourists come on all inclusive S’Agaro holidays for? One of the most popular reasons is the terrific beach which if you are fortunate enough to afford one of the villas for your holiday will likely be positioned on the seafront.

Outside the building control zone there have been a number of good hotels and self-catering apartments that have been built in the past decade or so. Bookings for S’Agaro holidays are at a premium during the summer so be sure and book your trip early for visits during July and August.

Suitable for:

All Inclusive Holidays in S’Agaro are largely for the well-to-do and popular for families and couples. Popular with travellers from many countries, and of course the Spanish staying in their villas during the summer. A quiet resort but it is a handy location to stay at if you want to avail of the nightlife in Playa de Aro.

There are only a few hotels in S’Agaro, the most of them being high-class all inclusive, thus being more expensive than surrounding resorts. Don’t be too alarmed though there are still budget options and if you want to stay a little bit out of the resort there are cheaper choices with a range of hotels and self-catering apartments.

You cannot go on holiday to S’Agaro without visiting the beach nearest to your hotel. The beaches around this part of the coast are impeccable and have the yellowest sand you will ever see. The waters are shallow which make an interesting introduction for kid to the sea.

The beach at S’Agaro will supply all your holiday enjoyment essentials such as sunbeds with umbrellas for hire as well as a decent selection of water sports like pedaloes, jet skiing and paragliding.

The promenade area with streets leading away from the beach has a row of restaurants and café’s that prove a hit with younger members of the family.

Unless you are going to spend some money on expensive cars you will want to shop elsewhere. S’Agaro has a few supermarkets and the usual souvenirs that will give you all your requirements for your time away, but if you want a better choice do a bit of resort hoping and try neighbouring resorts which probably will have a little more selection.

The entertainment for S’Agaro holidays can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. Most all inclusive complexes have included activities for you to choose, these can include water sports, walking and sightseeing around neighbouring resorts. Night life is limited to a few restaurants or your all inclusive hotel, one extra reason for choosing a board that suits you in S’Agaro.

Eating out:

Sant Pol will give you enough of a choice of bars and restaurants that you will be taken well care off if you have chosen a self-catering board in S’Agaro. This resort includes restaurants and cafes that give choices of fish, pizzas and other traditional and modern food from Spain and Europe.

Out and About:

There is a good choice of excursions that can take up much of yor time in S’Agaro. Take a break from your regular holiday activities and head for the nearby water park or take a cruise to Tossa de Mar and Lloret de Mar. There are a number of resorts you can visit that are close at hand by taking one of the public transport busses, or hiring a car for a few days can be done relatively cheaply.
