Spacious rooms and suites offer a home away from home for families like the Woorks from London, who raved about the private beach’s crystal waters and amenities that kept children entertained for hours. 

Score: 4/5 – Perfect for families with its serene environment and excellent facilities, though it could benefit from more varied dining options. 

Kavos 

Mayor Capo Di Corfu Over in Kavos we have the Mayor Capo Di Corfu. This resort is a haven for those looking to mix relaxation with a bit of fun. I chatted with a group of friends on a stag do. “The beach is right there and the nightlife is unbeatable,” they shared. 

Score: 4/5 – Great for groups and young adults with its lively atmosphere, but it can get a bit rowdy at times. 

Round 2: Taste of Corfu – Culinary Delights 

Corfu Town 

Taverna Nikolas In Corfu Town, the dining is an experience. At Taverna Nikolas I enjoyed a seafood platter with the Fairy family from Manchester. “The grilled octopus is phenomenal,” they told me and I couldn’t agree more. 

Score: 4.5/5 – Fresh, authentic and delicious, though prices can be higher for waterfront dining. 

Kavos 

For something more layed-back, The Drunken Sailor in Kavos offers a range of traditional Greek dishes with a modern twist. I joined a group of friends from Leeds who were raving about the mezes and lamb dishes. “The flavours here are incredible,” they exclaimed. 

Score: 4/5 – Great food and atmosphere, but service can be slow during busy periods. 

Round 3: Fun in the Sun – Beaches and Activities 

Corfu Town 

Traveling to Beaches While Corfu Town itself does not have its own beach, a short drive will take you to Glyfada Beach, which boast soft sands and clear waters,- which is perfect for a day of relaxation. 

I met a solo traveller from Bristol who was soaking up the sun.”It’s so peaceful here which is exactly what I needed,” she said. 

Score: 3.5/5 – The beach is beautiful and serene, but the need to drive there is a drawback for those looking for immediate beach access. 

Kavos 

Kavos Beach bustles with activity both day and night. Jet skis zip across the waves, as bungee jumpers leap from towers with adrenaline-pumping abandon. When I visited; I joined a group of university friends from Birmingham who were enjoying the afternoon watersports. “The beach is unparalleled for finding fun and thrills,” they told me between jumps. Though the sands swarm with visitors drawn by the tantalizing activities, the thrills satisfy adventure-seekers despite the crowds. 

Score: 4.5/5 – Perfect for adventure lovers, but cAn get crowded and noisy. 

Round 4: Nightlife – Clubs and Bars 

Corfu Town After Dark 

While Kavos vibrates at all hours, Corfu Town’s nightlife pulses with sophistication. On one night out with friends celebrating a birthday, we found respite at 54 Dreamy Nights, savoring finely-crafted cocktails as jazz music gently hummed. “The atmosphere provides welcome refuge from the bustle elsewhere,” a friend commented, relaxing into the chic surroundings. 

Score: 4/5 – Elegant and upscale, but it might not be the best for those looking for a wild night out. 

Kavos

Future Club If you are looking for a wild night then Kavos is the place to be. Future Club is the heartbeat of Kavos nightlife, with DJs spinning until dawn. I joined a group of party-goers from Leeds who were loving the eneargy. “It’s the ultimate party destination,” they sayed. 

Score: 4.5/5 – Energetic and lively but can be too intense for some. 

Conclusion: Corfu Town or.Kavos Which is best 

Corfu Town offers a blend of culture, relaxation and sophisticated dining. It’s perfect for families, couples and solo travellers looking for a more laid-back experience. However,the need to travel to nearby beaches can be a disadvantage for those seeking immediate beach access. 

Kavos on the other hand, is the go-to spot for young adults and groups looking for non-stop action and nightlife. It’s all about the party atmosphere and adrenaline-pumping activities, with the added benefit of immediate beach access.
