Airport and transport need to know
You’ll fly into Dalaman airport (DLM), which is used to getting thousands of revellers through the gates and on their way safely in no time. Yes, it gets busy, but they do an admirable job and the airport is full of handy facilities. It’s around 60 miles from the airport to Marmaris, which takes around and hour and three quarters by car. A return journey ought to cost you around £19 per person by shuttle bus or £140 per vehicle for a return journey by private taxi for 1-4 people.
There are low cost local buses and minibuses from Dalaman itself, six miles from the airport, which run frequently and connect the town with nearby Ortaca, Dalyan, Koycegiz and Marmaris to the west.
