While on the beach, you can take part in parasailing as well as other water sports.

Then there’s also the sheltered Batata beach providing excellent views of the old fortress, while, the Dona Ana beach is famous for its spectacular beach formations.


Come evening and Lagos comes alive with neon lights and loud music coming from the bars in town. All inclusive Lagos comes alive post sundown and you see a totally different town. About 2 minutes from the beachfront is the Rua 25 de Abril in old town which is the main strip where all evening entertainment takes place. It is here, that you’ll find clubs, discos, pubs and bars awaiting your arrival. Not only hard core dance clubs but karaoke bars and traditional bars too are there where you can hangout till the wee hours.

When to go:

The peak season in Lagos is during Easter and the months of July and August. The weather during this time is quite hot and the place is bound to be jam packed. Summers here are usually around 28°C and the sun is quite strong. Thus, the best time for holidays in Lagos is when the crowd is less. And in case you’re interested in hiking, long walks and staying close to nature then spring and autumn will be the best time to visit Lagos, when the climate is warm yet pleasant and comfortable.

The Lagos cultural centre has a lot of dance and music events going on throughout the year, which must not be missed while you’re vacationing in Lagos.
